Kira and her team are absolutely amazing. Fun festival with a great big heart. Everyone is welcoming and kind :) A very supportive and strong community festival. Not to mention there's music too!!!

A fantastic festival. Great networking opportunities and screening venues.

Love this festival! Had a wonderful time here—from the screenings, to the panels, the live music nights, and the social gatherings. ABQ is a not-so-hidden-gem and AFMX has a great history with the city. Everything was walkable (the two screening theaters, the filmmaker & panel HQ, restaurants, bars) and the weather was great! My crew and I had an amazing time—well worth it!! Many thanks to Kira and co for receiving us so warmly and giving Heartstorm a platform and audience!! And now this, from my writing/producing partner and star of Heartstorm, Arianna Basco: from the film blocks to the music, the panels to the locations, the staff to the food - what a beautiful experience for our whole squad. and to take home the cast ensemble and feature audience choice was a profound surprise - so grateful for this fest taking a chance on us and spotlighting our film. it was certainly a ‘heartstorm’ of a trip.

Unfortunately, a last-minute shoot prevented us from attending with our short doc selection, "Look At My Furniture," but the festival was very well organized and had very helpful zoom sessions for filmmakers leading up to the event.

Albuquerque Film + Music Experience is an event I'd attend again. Great people behind the scenes. Excellent networking.
