Overview
Amazing Fantasy Fest is Buffalo’s week-long festival of imaginative cinema, founded by filmmaker Gregory Lamberson after his earlier genre festivals Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival and Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. It is notable for presenting independent genre films on a single theatrical screen at Dipson’s Amherst Theatre, with a strong emphasis on local Western New York work alongside world premieres and other festival premieres.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
