Overview
ANIMAFILM is Baku’s first and only animation festival, founded in 2018 and organized by the Azerbaijan Animation Association. It is notable for combining international and Azerbaijani competitions, screenings, masterclasses, pitching, and industry meetings, and for being included in BAFTA’s Festivals List in 2024. The festival showcases animated films for children and adults, including short films, student works, and non-competitive programs, making it an important regional platform for animation in the film festival circuit.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
