It was an absolute pleasure to attend Beeston this year and see my film 'Fruitcake!' screened at the brilliant Arc Cinema. It was by far the most organised and friendly festival I've attended this year with a real professional feel. The quality of the screenings were brilliant and the award ceremony was thoughtfully put together.
This festival truly stands out!! The communication was superb, I was talking directly to the festival director John Currie throughout the entire process. The selection team and jury both sent positive feedback respectively. Between the two short films I made, I was in 17 festivals so far, and never received any detailed feedback... until Beeston! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the festival, but the experience outside of the festival was so good, I can only imagine how great it must be to experience it in person. I'm currently working on my next two shorts and I will absolutely be submitting to Beeston over and over again. Thank you to the whole staff, looking forward to meeting you all on the next round!
It was a pleasure to be selected this year with our film 'An Olive Branch' - Beeston is fantastic festival with great communication throughout. I would highly recommend and look forward to submitting future work!
The Beeston festival was such a wonderful festival to be a part of, and although sadly we couldn't attend in person, the communication from day 1 really stood out and we felt very welcomed to the Beeston family <3 Thank you John and team for having our film at your wonderful festival, we hope next time to be able to visit in person!
Thank you for selecting my animation to be screened at Beeston Film Festival. The communication was excellent throughout, and it was a pleasure to be part of such a well‑organised and welcoming festival.
