Overview
The Christian Youth Film Festival is a long-running Bakersfield event organized by the Christian Youth Film Society that spotlights short films made by young people ages 12 to 24. It is notable for its red-carpet gala format, industry-judged awards, and emphasis on faith-based storytelling, with films centered on Christian themes and values such as faith, hope, and love. The festival has become a significant youth-oriented platform in Bakersfield and has drawn entries from around the world, giving it a niche presence in the broader film festival circuit.[2][3][8][11]

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
