Overview
Creative World Awards is a Marina del Rey-based international screenwriting competition rather than a traditional film festival, notable for helping writers gain industry exposure and recognition. It accepts feature screenplays, television pilots, and short film scripts across multiple genres, and its winners can receive cash prizes, circulation to major industry companies, and a production opportunity that can lead to a premiere at the Richmond International Film Festival.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
