Thank you for including my TV pilot, “My Favorite Narcissist” in your competition. It was an honor to be included.
The Diverse Story Showcase is vital in today’s fractious climate, and I appreciate its courage and commitment. I am honored to have been selected for my theatrical stage play, featuring both BIPOC and LGBTQIA characters. Representation matters.
I was honored to have my script South Wind Come selected in the Diverse Story Showcase.
A great news venue for writers to gain exposure.
I would try this competition again when I can afford to.
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
