Overview
The Erotic&Bizarre Art Film Festival returns for its 12th edition, reaffirming its commitment to bold, uncompromising cinema on the Mediterranean coast, where films are not only screened, but truly confronted by a curious and engaged audience. We seek films that challenge conventions, explore the uncomfortable, and refuse easy categorization. If your work has been overlooked, misunderstood, or deemed “too strange” for traditional festival circuits, this is where it belongs. Erotic&Bizarre is more than a festival: it is a space of visibility and validation for filmmakers who take aesthetic and narrative risks. We curate daring works from around the world, united by their freedom of form, intensity of vision, and artistic honesty. By offering live screenings and direct access to audiences, we ensure that films with limited circulation can finally be experienced as they were meant to be: on the big screen, without filters or compromise. Submissions are now open for short and feature-length films of all genres. If your cinema provokes, unsettles, seduces, or defies expectations, we invite you to share it with us. Join us in celebrating radical creativity, cinematic diversity, and the pleasure of the unexpected.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
