A truly excellent experience with the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire. What stood out most was the transparent and smooth communication with the team throughout the whole process, always responsive, always clear about next steps. One thing I particularly appreciated: the opportunity to screen our film through the festival's partnership with the Alliance Française network, which opened the door to a completely different audience. In our case, Lifelines was also screened in Pondicherry, India, the very same evening as the Paris screening. A really meaningful extension of the film's reach. The festival's partnership with UNESCO, and the educational materials created around the selection, add real value beyond the screening itself, giving the film another kind of life and visibility. It's clear from these materials that the team behind the festival brings a genuinely sharp, thoughtful eye to the films they select and the work involved in making them. The screening quality itself was outstanding: our film played in DCP 2K with 5.1 sound at the historic Christine Cinéma Club in Paris. Optimal projection conditions in a beautiful, storied venue. Finally, the overall curation of the selection was excellent. A genuinely strong, thoughtfully assembled program. Highly recommended for filmmakers looking for a festival that treats their work with real care.
