Participants of our festival include Oscar calibre and Hollywood icons such as Zoe Saldaña, Coleman Domingo, Kevin Bacon, Lea Seydoux, Rose Byrne, Noomi Rapace, and many more. At the same time, we embrace first-time & low budget filmmakers, many of whom have shined in our festival. Film Olympiad is about every filmmaker having a chance to be recognized for their work, regardless of budget or previous fame. Film Olympiad is the FIRST and ONLY International Film Festival: - to publish the RATINGS of ALL films, providing transparency and valuable FEEDBACK - to have an exciting UNIQUE COMPETITION SYSTEM, potentially exciting to mass audiences beyond the cinephiles, adding even more transparency - to hold the ICONIC BRAND NAME of Film Olympiad, awarding the prestigious Film Olympiad Medals We desire to see your film! We want to see your dreams, empathise with your heroes, laugh with your jokes, cry with your drama! Over 1.300 films from 116 countries participated in a total of 16 Grand Prix competitions and 190 films have been screened in 10 different cinemas across Athens, including Oscar nominated or other highly acclaimed films. NETWORKING & RECOGNITION With the unique completion system, you have an actual chance to get selected and win a medal. Moreover, you can make your participation viral to your audience, fans and community. "Yeah, buddy, on Thursday we are up against a film from Japan, and if we win, we qualify to the quarterfinals against either a film from Russia or a film from Germany!".
