Overview
Hollywood Jumbo: The 2026 Film & Screenplay Festival is a Los Angeles-based event that combines film screening and screenplay competition, with categories for short films, feature films, and TV pilots. It is notable for also honoring screenwriters with awards such as certificates and trophies, and for promoting winners and finalists through its official festival listings and media promotion. The festival is a niche industry showcase for emerging and independent creators rather than a major A-list circuit event.

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
