Overview
The Iowa Motion Picture Association Annual Film Festival, also known as the IMPA Awards, is a long-running Iowa film event hosted by the Iowa Motion Picture Association. It is notable as the longest continuously running film festival in Iowa and centers on celebrating Iowa media production through awards, screenings, and red-carpet events. It showcases nominated films across creative and technical categories, including work by both professional and student filmmakers, making it a key statewide platform for Iowa film talent rather than a major national-market festival.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
