At Leda's Monologues we put our focus on Film Monologues and Short films with a distinctive voice. We especially welcome themes such as identity, human relationships, social issues, women’s perspectives, experimental forms, and new approaches to storytelling. We deeply value human connection and meaningful interaction at our festival. If your film is selected and you plan to attend in person, please let us know in your cover letter, or via email. History of the place: In the past, the wider region of Agrinio was the heart of the ancient kingdom of Aetolia—the birthplace of Queen Leda, mother of Helen of Troy. We decided to maintain a strong bond with this important part of history by naming our festival ''Leda's Monologues''.

This is the real deal. Such a beautifully organised festival. To have your work showcased in an open air cinema is a fantastic experience. To be amongst so may great artist who attended from all over the world was magical. This is a film festival for filmmakers. The selection of films were incredible and to receive three awards for my projects was just the cherry on top. Thank you to the organisers for creating this platform. I can't wait for next year.
