London Breeze was established in 2016 to showcase emerging filmmakers from across the UK and around the world, and that remains true today. We are committed to championing new, diverse and underrepresented voices in film through our festival events and screenings both in cinema and on our online film hub, Breeze Online. We are also committed to growing the next generation of filmmakers through our children and youth showcases and our, brand new for 2026, 19-25 young adult competition, as well as our community programmes. Next year will be our eleventh anniversary as a film festival. It promises to be our most exciting venture yet as we expand our programming, venues and audiences. We are incredibly proud to hold BIFA (British Independent Film Association) qualifying status which acknowledges our rigorous programming and award status. Our goal over the next five years is to become both a BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festival which would allow our winning films and filmmakers to be considered for designated categories in these two prestigious award competitions. An ambitious goal to continue to boost our support for emerging filmmakers and to increase the reach of our festival. Thank you London Breeze Film Festival for selecting Wavelength for your 2025 programme! The quality of films was so high in our screening block, it was a honour to be picked alongside them. The filmmakers we met were so friendly and it was lovely to get to share a little about our film. I really hope we get the chance to attend and screen again, as we can tell this festival really cares about it's filmmakers.
Thank you to the London Breeze Film Festival Team for believing in my feature documentary film, Quiet on Set: The Class Division in the Film Industry? which was one out of three films that was completely sold out. I had the best Q&A panel experience for the film. Madeleine, Sam, Emily and the Garden Cinema team were amazing. Best Cinema experience for indie films. The fight goes on for inclusive equality in the UK film and TV industry..
Thank you so much for selecting our film 'Of All The Things' as part of you online festival and for including our film in your Christmas event.
T'was lovely to have Teddy on the Edge selected for the online program of London Breeze - great team and great communication. Thanks a million!
London Breeze Film Festival is a very special festival. I was truly honoured to have Carrot Cake shown there. They clearly deeply care about nurturing and supporting emerging filmmakers and showcased many fantastic films. Anyone would be lucky to have their film shown there!
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
No community reviews yet. If you submitted here, your experience helps others avoid award mills.
