Overview
Founded in 2001, The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival was created to bring people together during the quieter off season, celebrating film, food, music, and art. Now one of the Island’s most beloved off-season traditions, it’s just one of the many exciting events produced by Circuit Arts. The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival brings the community together through groundbreaking films that inspire conversation, foster connection, and celebrate the power of storytelling. For 26 years, the MVFF has built a dedicated community of filmmakers, artists, and deeply engaged audiences. Our festival has been a home for both emerging and established voices, with past participants including Amy Schumer, Peter Farrelly, Spike Lee, Seth Meyers, Tonya Lee Lewis, Matt Heineman, Ken Burns, and Tony Shalhoub. More recently, we’ve hosted memorable screenings and conversations with Geralyn Dreyfous, Doug Liman, Stacey Snider, Henry Louis Gates Jr., and Andrew Jarecki. We're thrilled to be gearing up for our 27th festival, marking more than a quarter-century of showcasing innovative cinema and creating unforgettable experiences for the Island.
