Overview
Attention: works not in Italian MUST be subtitled, under penalty of disqualification. The "Mediterraneo Festival Corto" is an international short film competition that has become one of the most important national and international short film festivals. In previous editions, numerous actors and actresses have been the event's spokespersons. In 2019, as in the edition (XIV, 2024), we also had the pleasure of hosting the three Oscars won by Maestro Carlo Rambaldi (King Kong, ET and Alien). For 5 years, the Festival has been sponsored in the Human Rights section by Amnesty International Italy. In 2016 and 2025, it obtained UNESCO recognition and patronage. See photo.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
