Iscrizione esclusivamente tramite FilmFreeway; - CONCORSO NAZIONALE CORTOMETRAGGI / CATEGORIA CORSI, SCUOLE E ACCADEMIE DI CINEMA: cortometraggi della durata massima di 15 minuti realizzati da studenti italiani under 30 (compiuti entro le ore 23.59 del 31 ottobre 2026), regolarmente e attualmente iscritti a Corsi, Scuole e Accademie di Cinema del territorio italiano. Iscrizione esclusivamente tramite email; - SPAZIO FILM CONCORSO NAZIONALE SCENEGGIATURE / CATEGORIA CORSI, SCUOLE E ACCADEMIE DI CINEMA: Lo SPAZIO FILM è uno spazio di scrittura destinato a 10 autori italiani (sceneggiatura e regia), under 30 (compiuti entro le ore 23.59 del 31 ottobre 2026), iscritti regolarmente e attualmente a Corsi, Scuole e Accademie di Cinema che operano sul territorio italiano. Gli autori selezionati vengono ospitati a Santa Maria C.V. dal festival, fatta eccezione per le spese di trasporto, dal 7 all’11 dicembre per dedicarsi alla scrittura di sceneggiature per corti della durata massima di 10 minuti, ispirate al tema del festival, LA BANDA, e da ambientare nel territorio sammaritano. Iscrizione esclusivamente tramite email; - SPAZIO FILM / CATEGORIA UNDER 25: 2 giovani autori italiani under 25, che non siano studenti di alcuna Scuola o Accademia di Cinema e non frequentino alcun corso del genere, a cui viene offerta la possibilità di seguire il percorso formativo dello Spazio Film (Gli autori ammessi allo Spazio Film vengono ospitati a Santa Maria c.v. dal festival, fatta eccezione per le spese di trasporto, dal 7 all’11 per dedicarsi alla scrittura di sceneggiature per corti della durata massima di 10 minuti, ispirate al tema del festival, LA BANDA, e da ambientare nel territorio sammaritano). Mitreo Film Festival Association In collaboration with Regione Campania Isola Produzioni Srl MitrArtProduction Srls Horcynus Orca Foundation ITS ACADEMY Roberto Rossellini, Rome DAM Academy, Naples presents M I T R E O F I L M F E S T I V A L 2 0 2 6 “THE MARCHING BAND” FILM AND CULTURE FESTIVAL 7–12 December 2026 Santa Maria Capua Vetere (CE) To mark the 26th edition of the festival of the same name, the Mitreo Film Festival Cultural Association is launching a call for entries for four competition sections: - INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION / FILMMAKERS’ CATEGORY: international short films with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, directed by Italian and foreign filmmakers aged under 35 (as at 23.59 on 31 October 2026) and produced from 1 January 2024 onwards. Entries must be submitted exclusively via FilmFreeway; - NATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION / FILM COURSES, SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES CATEGORY: short films with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, made by Italian students under 30 (who must have reached this age by 23.59 on 31 October 2026), who are currently enrolled on film courses, at film schools or film academies in Italy. Entries must be submitted exclusively via email; - FILM SPACE - NATIONAL SCREENPLAY COMPETITION / CATEGORY: FILM COURSES, SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES: FILM SPACE is a writing programme open to 10 Italian screenwriters and directors, aged under 30 (having reached that age by 23.59 on 31 October 2026), who are currently enrolled in film courses, schools and academies operating in Italy. The selected writers will be hosted in Santa Maria C.V. by the festival – with the exception of travel expenses – from 7 to 11 December to devote themselves to writing screenplays for short films lasting no more than 10 minutes, inspired by the festival’s theme, THE MARCHING BAND, and set in the Santa Maria C.V. area. Registration is by email only; - FILM SPACE / UNDER-25 CATEGORY: 2 young Italian screenwriters under the age of 25, who have never been students at any film school or academy and are not currently attending any such course, are offered the opportunity to take part in the Spazio Film training programme (Filmmakers admitted to the FILM SPACE will be hosted in Santa Maria c.v. by the festival, with the exception of travel expenses, from the 7th to the 11th to devote themselves to writing screenplays for short films lasting no more than 10 minutes, inspired by the festival’s theme, ‘THE MARCHING BAND’, and set in the Santa Maria area). Registration is by FilmFreeway only.
