The Official Latino Film Festival is a great festival dedicated to shine light to LatinX filmmakers. Danny Hastings is at the head of this festival. His experience in the industry is a great asset that has helped this festival emerge as one of the best Latinx film festivals in the U.S.A. and my personal favorite. Every single film I've created has been summited to this festival and I am planning to do the same with future projects. Here you will be able to network, meet and understand the industry at a deeper level, you wont go wrong. Thank you to the Official Latino for the amazing opportunities it provides.
The Official Latino film festival is a really special festival. Danny and his team are relentlessly driven to support and create opportunities for Latinx voices in film. From their licensing deal with HBO to the filmmakers that participate, there's nothing out there like this festival and this community. I can't recommend Official Latino strongly enough!
This is a great festival. Danny and this team truly are official and they work hard to promote Latino voices in the film industry. Definitely recommend the festival and hope to meet more Latino artists next time I submit.
The Official Latino Film Festival is a festival made by talented Latinx members for passionate Latinx voices. Very well organized, friendly, and most of all, made with talent and love. Thanks so much for everything, Danny Hastings!!!!
This was such an amazing festival! Even though it had to be virtual this year, Danny did such a great job making it fun, inclusive and easy to access. So many interesting panels, films, and Q&As. The organization and communication were always great, and Danny imbued the festival with his infectious passion and enthusiasm. Thank you!
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
