Overview

In short, we are a festival of filmmakers, by filmmakers, and for filmmakers. We want to be the place where you make that next great connection. We seek to be a festival where filmmakers receive encouragement, and where more experienced artists can give guidance and ideas to newer artists. At Panther City Film Festival (PCFF), our primary mission is to promote collaboration among filmmakers and call attention to the quality work produced within the independent film movement. Of course, we love to screen films that have a wide audience appeal. We also enjoy quirky, thoughtful films that lean experimental or maybe just a bit weird. We're just excited to provide a platform for established and brand new filmmakers to share their work side by side. Attendees have the opportunity to participate in panels scheduled throughout the festival. Aside from the formal screening and panel schedule, there are constant networking opportunities. We love seeing directors, actors, writers, and tech people make new connections. At PCFF, we believe that we are stronger when we work together.

  Truly exceptional film festival. Everyone who worked on putting the festival together did an amazing job. Sean was absolutely incredible and was so welcoming and supportive. He made me feel at home and worked hard to provide an overall great experience. Kate was phenomenal in welcoming me and making sure I had all I needed. The film lineup was great and how the film blocks were organized was very thoughtful and made for a truly immersive experience. So many quality films and a very fun, enlightening, and memorable time. Because of Sean's hard work, this was a perfect environment for quality networking with fellow filmmakers in addition to being a great film viewing experience. Easily one of the best times ive ever had at a film festival. Thank you so much, Panther City!!!
