Overview
RPM in Motion celebrates independent animation, digital media art, and music videos. It also features title sequences, and experimental media art that expand our experience, including animation, digital frontier art, and audiovisual performances. Organized by The Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) Festival, RPM was founded in 2013 at Colgate University and relocated to Boston in 2018. The edition of RPM in Motion 2026 run from March 27th to March 29th and will include media showcases at the Brattle Theatre, Boston City Hall, and other venues in and around Boston. Past iterations of the festival have featured work by animators, educators, and experimental artists such as Stacey Steers, Janie Geiser, Ariana Gerstein, Kelly Sears, Lei Lei, and Sun Xun.
