So good! Great communication and organisation.. also, a big audience for your film. Couldn't be happier!
We're big fans of Short of the Week, and it was a huge honor to have our film selected by their team! Our experience working with them was wonderful, and we truly appreciate all of the support and care they showed to us and our film!
Brilliant. Always been a huge fan of the work they select, and the team couldn't have been more helpful & enthusiastic when we were selected, too. Just great!
Short of the Week has given us a home for 3 of our short films over the years, and their consistently good write ups and have made us feel respected and seen as filmmakers and artists. It’s also incredibly humane how quick the acceptance or rejection is! No sitting for months on end waiting for approval or disapproval! What a gift. We love Short of the Week.

FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
No community reviews yet. If you submitted here, your experience helps others avoid award mills.
