Overview
The Travelling Film Festival (TFF) is Australia's longest-running travelling film festival, founded in 1974 by critic David Stratton to bring Sydney Film Festival highlights to regional audiences who lack access to such cinema. It showcases a curated mix of Australian and international features, documentaries, and short films across 17–22 regional locations annually, emphasizing diversity in style, mood, and country of origin. The festival's significance lies in its outreach mission to foster community debate, social cohesion, and direct engagement with filmmakers through workshops and Q&A sessions in remote areas.

Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
