Overview
The best Iranian short films of the year (selected by FiDAN) is a Tehran-based year-end editorial selection by FiDAN, a specialist short-film magazine, rather than a traditional competition. It highlights Iranian short films across fiction, documentary, experimental, and animation, and is notable for its curated spotlight on the year’s strongest works and its role in recognizing short-form filmmaking within Iran’s festival and critical circuit.
