Overview
This is the third New York Sci-FI and Horror Film festival with many of our programmers having worked at other sci-fi festivals around the the country including the famous Philip K Dick Festival, Boston Sci-Fi, and Outer Places. We are looking for solid science fiction, and horror films that embody good storytelling excellent effects, and entertaining narratives. Bradbury to original pieces. From a serious exploration of dystopian worlds to screwball sci-fi comedies to supernatural, eerie, and horror films We are big fans of horror sci-f in the tradition of Predator or Terminator, Eli Roth, classic Gallo horror, vampires, etc

It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this festival. The entire team is incredibly welcoming and supportive of genre film and filmmakers. Including those of us who couldn't make it in a virtual talk back was amazing. Extremely kind and supportive and very communicative. Check them out for sure!

The festival was an absolutely magical experience. I truly enjoyed every moment, the location was perfect, and the energy throughout was outstanding. I’m thrilled that my film Fork Man, The Origin Story was so well received and honored with winning Best Short AI Film at the festival. It was a real joy seeing everyone’s work on the big screen and connecting with fellow filmmakers. The excitement and positivity shared by Dan and all the film makers made it really special. I’m already looking forward to submitting to future festivals.
