Unlike festivals, the Lift-Off Showcase is something that combines online focus groups, peer-to-peer feedback, and annual interaction with our nomination screenings forming part of an annual showcase day at Pinewood Studios, access to our Writer's Room, invitations to attend the Lift-Off Season Awards, and the potential to have your project released on Lift-Off's incredibly successful YouTube Channel. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀? ⭐ 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (event day listed when you submitted – we do these monthly) You will be invited to an initial online focus group, where you will engage with the other monthly selected filmmakers and screenwriters from the various showcase categories we list monthly on FilmFreeway. You will receive feedback from the group via a private online screening of your project. ⭐ 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 (Feb/Mar) All accepted films will be considered for Season Award nominations, but regardless of consideration, you will be invited to all of the nomination screenings as a judge, if you wish to partake, happening at The John Barry Theatre, in the world-famous Pinewood Studios in Feb/March (date and times tbc). ⭐ 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 (Feb/Mar) The nomination screening attendance is also grouped on the same day with an in-person event at Pinewood centred around you and your work. Following a tour of the studios, we will discuss your career, the industry, and the various opportunities you face. ⭐ 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (Feb/Mar) You will then be invited to our actual Season Awards, a black-tie event where we award the top-voted films from ALL of the Lift-Off city-based festivals and Showcases from the entire year.   The Festival notified of a selection for the Filmmaker Showcase and then later revealed that due to covid-19. The Festival was moved online. Following this, the showcase Festival decided to merge all the festivals into one online rented package where the public voted for the best films. This wasn't the theme of Festival I'd submitted to.
