The 2026 Film Festival Events will be held in front of live festival attendees in Wellington, Florida and the surrounding area. In the past our venues included: -- the Northwood Art & Music Warehouse, -- the Lake Worth Theater -- the Movies of Lake Worth, -- the Movies at Wellington, -- the Legacy Lounge, -- the Bamboo Room, -- the Blueprint, -- and Belair 509 Restaurant (formerly Cafe St. Regis). For 2026, our venues location will be disclosed on Wellington film festival.com Our festival features regional films local to Florida and international films as well. Our focus so far has been on independent and student film makers, but we are looking to partner with Key Sponsors and Business Partners to make our next Wellington Film Festival an amazing event. The NEW FREE LIVE-STREAM OPTION is being worked on with a partner and will be announced as soon as we establish this collaboration. The idea of the Collaborative Wellington Film Festival is that you can eventually be part of our upcoming events applicable to you and show the films in your own selected locations. We wish to expand the venues where films submitted to us can be seen.

Amazing job doing the festival! Thanks for letting me go!
Thank you so much for accepting my film into the festival and actually screening it too! Although I was not fortunate enough to go to the event, I know that people had a great time and enjoyed my short film!
I went on Saturday and had an amazing time. The curation of films was incredible, thank you to the people who make it possible 🙏🏼
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
No community reviews yet. If you submitted here, your experience helps others avoid award mills.
