Thank you for the selection of our screenplay, we are honored.

I always see this as a key indicator of my writing.

I'm so grateful for Hidden Death - A True Crime to be an Official Selection as I know that there were probably hundreds that didn't make the Official List on the website. But what I would like to see in the future is a fair but more generous opportunity for writers working so hard, is that again like other events, there are Runner Ups. There is Honorable Mention and so on so that more come away with a little more recognition for their hard work. Also, we've all been waiting since November 7, 2025 that is 9 months, just to know if we've been "Selected" officially. That is an awfully long time to have a project in limbo as most other events let you know with much earlier notification date, whether or not they are officially selected. My project, which is my own experience in solving a murder, has received extremely high scores elsewhere so, although I am very grateful, I'm sure I speak for others who would also like a faster response before 9 whole months and more opportunities such as Honorable Mention. Thank you. Lady Khadi Madama, Award Winning Screenwriter and TV Producer.

They were actually early with their announcements and courteous.

Not enough transparency in the process. Included analysis was thin... pushing paid services.

Research

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.

Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
