It made me proud that the film - My Partner, Giraffe - was selected in a festival that was only for short films, and for sure short films with better insight will be judged, and also in such a festival with a history and a professional perspective. The finals were the 15th edition of the Universo Corto Festival and I hope to be able to participate in this prestigious event with my other films.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.

How scoring works
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
