10/10 festival. I was looking for local festivals that I could submit my first film to so I could meet people in my area, and this festival was such a lovely one to have attended and entered. Welcoming judges and hosts. Highly recommend
An amazing festival that grows in stature every year. We were honoured to be selected as the opening night movie and doubly so to win Best Film.
Unrestricted View is a standout event that actively supports independent filmmakers. It’s managed by a team of filmmakers themselves, which adds to its authenticity. Importantly, UV must be the friendliest and most welcoming film festival I've had the pleasure to screen at. The atmosphere is top notch and it provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with other filmmakers.
I sadly couldn't make it but my editor Raluca Petre did and had a good time! Thanks for having Better & for the lovely communication & looks like we were in really brilliant company
I'm honored to be nominated. Thank you all! Good luck to the talented filmmakers participating.

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
