Overview
The Art Scene West Film Festival is an inaugural, community-oriented film event hosted in Seaport Village, downtown San Diego, by the Art Scene West gallery. It is notable for presenting independent short films from around the country in an outdoor waterfront setting, alongside live music and local arts programming, with proceeds partly benefiting arts education nonprofit ArtReach. Its significance lies in adding a curated, gallery-led venue to San Diego’s film scene and creating a public showcase for emerging filmmakers in a distinctive art-and-culture environment.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
