Overview
The Fable Forest Film Festival is a new short-film festival in Kitchener, Ontario, presented by Fable Forest Films and hosted at Kitchener Comic Con. It is notable for its Comic Con setting, which gives it access to a large fandom audience, and for spotlighting local talent while also welcoming student, emerging, and professional filmmakers. The festival is positioned as a genre-focused showcase, with preference for horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and thriller shorts, and its role in the circuit is primarily as a regional platform for exposure rather than an established awards-market festival.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
