Overview
The Female Pilot Club Festival is a new London-based comedy-focused festival launched by Female Pilot Club, an organization known since 2019 for sell-out live readings of female-written comedy scripts. It is notable for centering brilliant female comedy writers and filmmakers, combining short film screenings with script readings, panels, workshops, mentorship, and awards, which gives it a clear industry-development role within the UK comedy circuit.[1][2]

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.

How scoring works
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
