Overview
GENÇ İSTANBUL KISA FİLM YARIŞMASI is a youth-oriented short film competition organized in İstanbul by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, in collaboration with Yıldız Technical University. It is notable for being a free, award-based platform for young filmmakers aged 18–29, with recent editions centered on themes such as "Gençlik ve Umut" and aimed at encouraging creative expression about the future and social concerns. It showcases short films rather than feature-length works and is significant as a municipal, youth-focused entry point for emerging filmmakers in Türkiye’s short-film circuit.[1][2][3]

Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
