Overview
Holiday Horror is an annual theatrical evening presented by Portland Horror Film Festival (PHFF), an established Portland horror festival active since 2016. The event screens horror short films under 20 minutes with winter-holiday themes (Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve) at a cinema screening, with awards including Best of Fest and Audience Choice. It is a themed program of PHFF rather than a separate online-only awards mill; generative AI films are not accepted.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
