Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival, organized in Krakow since 1994, is the oldest international film event in Poland confronting the achievements of art and film school students from all over the globe with the works of the authors of artistic animation including professional, student and independent filmmakers. Among events accompanying international contest of animated films and student etudes (films made at film and art schools made during didactic process) there are: the annual award for the outstanding artist and pedagogue, Etiuda&Anima ”Top Tens” – unique sets of the best of the best animations chosen by experts, ”Animators’ Self-Portraits”, a cycle which provides the audience with unique opportunity to watch some of the best authors of various animation genres creating their film works live, or the premieres of the most interesting feature animated films from all over the world. For the past few years the festival has also included various film workshops in: script-writing, directing, cinematography, editing and animation conducted by well-known artists and pedagogues from the world’s leading film schools. The festival enjoys highly reputable position among world’s film events of similar type and every year is becoming more and more popular among both artists and outstanding personages of the film world, as well as viewers who come to Krakow to attend it in large numbers. Our festival team has also organized a lot of interesting film events all over the world and on other continents. We love good partnership.

We showed had our short film REINA in competition and won a SPECIAL MENTION. The festival is very carefully curated festival with high quality films. Despite the pandemic they found a very good and professional way to do Q&A. The Q&A itself was entertaining and well done. The staff maintains a fast and good communication via mail.
This festival is really a necessary one. Please keep working on generating this exquisite and outstanding programming for the audiences. Thank you for selecting us and we are very delighted for being awarded!
I got FICC special mention, thanks,
Great Festival in Krakaow besides KFF offering a broad line up and excellent festival communication. As the winner of the Special Golden Jabberwocky 2022 (In His Mercy) I can tell: the statuettes are just beautiful! Thank you, dear Jury!
Thank you for making The Nectar Instead part of your lineup this year. The communication was excellent and your warm invite to the festival was much appreciated although I couldn't attend in person. Thank you again!
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
