Overview
The Kelvin Cinema Festival is a Shillong-based film festival named after the historic Kelvin Cinema Hall, one of the first talkies in the region, and organized by the Jeevan Ram Mungi Devi Goenka Public Charitable Trust with support from Fraternity Art Cine Entertainment Shillong. It is notable for promoting filmmaking in Meghalaya and North East India, and for serving as a platform for emerging Indian filmmakers and, in some editions, selected out-of-competition international films. The festival has been described as an important boost for the regional film scene and a showcase for independent cinema in the area.

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
