Overview
The Mental Health Warrior Film Festival is a Madison-based festival centered on films that explore mental health, stigma, and lived experience with mental illness. It is notable for spotlighting original short films and works by filmmakers who identify as mental health warriors, with programming that has included comedies, horror films, music videos, and other creative approaches to the subject. The festival also functions as a fundraiser and awareness event, with proceeds supporting mental health organizations and suicide-prevention efforts, giving it a community-service role beyond the screen.[1][3][4][5]

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
