It's a true honor that my experimental dark comedy short "Hand Job" was a semi-finalist in New York Indie Shorts Award and screened in the NY New Wave Online Showcase as part of the "Otherworldly Realms" program. The virtual showcase was incredibly accessible with very diverse shorts helpfully grouped in unique/refreshing programs. I will certainly submit future projects to this fest!

The organizing team communicates very well, and the selected movies were pretty good. I enjoyed the experience.

We really enjoyed our experience with this festival. Even though our film was not selected for the program, we were featured in their NY New Wave Showcase competition. A lot of people got to see and enjoy our film because of this and it was a tremendous experience. If there was one thing we could improve upon, it would be more transparency on what criteria the Audience Award for the Showcase was judged. Thank you so much for including our film in your Showcase :-)
