I was more than delighted to have been a Finalist in your competition and thank you for your kind words with regard to my script. This result will encourage me to continue with my writing and do even better in the future. Thank you.
I'm very grateful to have been part of this competition and grateful for my placement.
I had a great experience with the New York Script Awards. Communication was clear and timely. My feature script BLUEBIRD was recognised as a Finalist and awarded Best First-Time Screenwriter (Feature), which was both encouraging and motivating as an emerging writer. I definitely recommend this competition to other screenwriters looking for thoughtful recognition and a credible festival to add to their track record.
The festival gives exposure to my writing that is important. Players in the industry read and discuss work at levels that justify the award status of the New York Script Awards. As an authorized IMDB festival it is recognition I could not get anywhere else. Great PR!
Can't rightly argue with a positive experience after winning Best TV Pilot script! Thank you guys so much! I appreciate the vote of confidence for this passion project! I'll be posting Burning Virtue on The Blacklist and Inktip with a few more wins and selections.

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
