Overview
Pollen: Video Spells is a Brooklyn-based experimental screening program produced and curated by Benja Thompson as part of the LEIMAY Constellation Series at CAVE in Williamsburg. It is notable for presenting video works in a multi-projection, cross-disciplinary format and for centering dancefilm, performance, and other experimental moving-image work within New York’s avant-garde arts scene.[1][2][4] Its significance in the festival circuit comes from its focus on artist-driven work and its role as a platform for experimental and performance-based films that often circulate through specialized festivals and art spaces rather than mainstream theatrical venues.[1][3][4]

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
