Overview
RAGFF New York City is the New York edition of the Retro Avant Garde Film Festival, an independent festival focused on experimental and avant-garde cinema. It is notable for welcoming a very broad range of films — including shorts, features, documentaries, music videos, and other hybrid visual forms — and for positioning itself as an international platform for new forms of audiovisual expression. Its significance comes from its emphasis on artistic innovation and its open, genre-inclusive approach within the wider festival circuit.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
