Overview
The Romance Rules Film Festival (RRFF) in Dubbo is a short-film festival devoted to romance in all its forms, presenting a live screening of selected works from around the world. It is notable for its inclusive, genre-open approach—welcoming drama, comedy, horror, action romance, music videos, documentaries, and non-English films with English subtitles—and for its audience-favourite award format. In Dubbo’s film calendar, it functions as a niche community event within the broader Australian short-film circuit rather than a major competitive festival.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
