Overview
The Cut Film Series - Celestial is a themed film event at The Cut, Canton’s newest 30-seat cinema, presented alongside an art exhibit inspired by the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse. It is notable for its intimate venue and its focus on films that engage with cosmic curiosity, wonder, and humanity’s response to the mysteries of the sky, with submissions required to align with that theme. The series is positioned as a creative community screening space rather than a major competitive festival, making it a niche local event within Canton’s arts scene.

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
