Overview
The West London Film Festival is a relatively new London festival founded by filmmaker and producer Giorgia Cecconi and staged at The Chiswick Cinema. It is notable as a networking and discovery platform for emerging and established talent, with a program built around international and independent cinema, plus workshops and panel events. Its significance lies in its role as a local industry hub that brings together filmmakers and audiences around diverse contemporary films rather than as a long-established major awards festival.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.

How scoring works
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
