Overview
The WIFMCO Screenplay Contest is a women-focused short screenplay competition run by Women in Film & Media Colorado. It is notable for offering cash prizes, professional table reads, and script feedback, with an emphasis on scripts that pass the Bechdel test or center female-identifying leads; it is a regional industry platform rather than a traditional film showcase, and its winners are announced to the Colorado film community.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
