21st International A.S.T.O. Short Film Festival

Overview

For the past 21 years, the Short Films Team of "A.S.T.O. - We Communicate" has been proudly organizing the Short Film Festival, which, for the last 9 years, has grown into an international event. Thousands of filmmakers from around the world submit their work each year, making it a vibrant celebration of global creativity. The festival takes the form of an open-air cinema, held in Patras, Greece, offering a unique and inviting atmosphere. It is entirely organized by volunteers, all members of the association, and attendance is always free to the public. This year’s event will be structured in three parts, with film screenings taking place over three consecutive evenings: - Part A - Global Creators (JUNE 18, 2026) - Part B - Greek Creators (JUNE 19, 2026) - Part C - Short Films for Children and Youngsters (JUNE 20, 2026) The festival aims to showcase as many films as possible within the available time, taking into account the unique nature of an open-air cinema. -------------------------------------------------------------- Η Ομάδα Ταινιών Μικρού Μήκους του Α.Σ.Τ.Ο. - Επικοινωνούμε διοργανώνει εδώ και 21 χρόνια το Φεστιβάλ Ταινιών Μικρού Μήκους, το οποίο τα τελευταία 9 χρόνια έχει αποκτήσει διεθνή χαρακτήρα, με χιλιάδες δημιουργούς να στέλνουν τις ταινίες τους από κάθε γωνιά του κόσμου. Το φεστιβάλ πραγματοποιείται σε μορφή ανοιχτού κινηματογράφου και φιλοξενείται στην πόλη της Πάτρας. Η διοργάνωση βασίζεται εξ ολοκλήρου στην εθελοντική προσφορά των μελών του συλλόγου, ενώ η συμμετοχή του κοινού είναι πάντα δωρεάν. Η φετινή διοργάνωση θα περιλαμβάνει τρία μέρη, με τις προβολές των ταινιών να πραγματοποιούνται σε 3 διαδοχικές ημέρες: - Μέρος Α - Δημιουργοί από όλο τον κόσμο (18 ΙΟΥΝΙΟΥ 2026) - Μέρος Β - Έλληνες δημιουργοί (19 ΙΟΥΝΙΟΥ 2026) - Μέρος Γ - Ταινίες Μικρού Μήκους για Παιδία και Νέους (20 ΙΟΥΝΙΟΥ 2026) Στόχος του φεστιβάλ είναι να προβάλει όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερες ταινίες, αξιοποιώντας τον διαθέσιμο χρόνο που επιτρέπει η ιδιαίτερη μορφή του ανοιχτού κινηματογράφου.
