Overview
The Avant-Garde Horror & Fantasy Film Festival (AGHFFF) is a new international genre festival held in Novigrad-Cittanova, Istria, Croatia, and is presented as the country’s first festival devoted exclusively to horror and fantasy with an artistic, experimental edge.[1][3][5] It is notable for programming boundary-pushing genre cinema, including features and shorts ranging from traditional horror and thrillers to surreal, giallo, slasher, exploitation, and hybrid auteur films, alongside industry panels, masterclasses, and networking events.[1][2][6]

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
