banjaluka international animation film festival
Established legitimate festival
The Banjaluka International Animation Film Festival is one of the oldest and most important animation festivals in Europe, tracing its origins to the May Festival of Animated Film established in Yugoslavia in 1971 before being relaunched in Banja Luka in 2008 by the FENIX ART Association. It showcases exclusively short animated films of any genre and technique under 25–28 minutes, featuring an international jury and awards for creativity, artistic expression, and specific animation techniques like 2D, 3D, and puppet animation. The festival is uniquely notable for simultaneously holding editions in seven cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, making it the only festival in the world to operate across all major cities of a nation at the same time.

Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
