One of the best festival experience on the East Mediterranean, Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival (BMFF) is celebrated in September with a selection of short films with a Mediterranean twist. During the first week of September, in the historical 4000 years old Phoenician Mediterranean city of Batroun, audience and filmmakers come along to share the mind-blowing artwork in an enchanting setting of the open-air unique screening venue; an environment that will generate enrichment for both, the local audience as well as international filmmakers. A lively cultural event that consists of International and National Competitions, professional workshops, seminars, special events, concerts and hangouts will give every art lover a great cinematic breath.

Definitivamente, una de las sorpresas más bonitas del año en el circuito de festivales de cine.
One of my best experiences at a film festival both as a filmmaker and a spectator.
A beautiful and cozy festival which brings us every year the best short films made.
Beautiful experience from start to finish. To many more editions and successes.
Great experience at the 10th edition of the festival! Very warm welcome, hospitality and great organization.. The festival not only shares a beautiful selection of short films but also invites participants to an immersive experience in the hosting mediterranean coastal city that is Batroun! Thank you & to more success..
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
