Overview
Camera Zizanio is a vibrant sphere of creative energy held every December in Pyrgos (Ilia, Greece), running alongside the prestigious Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People. Every year, over 80 young filmmakers from across Europe and the globe gather to showcase their work and collaborate in the "Mythos Project," our signature international filmmaking workshop. Camera Zizanio isn’t just a screening event; it is a dynamic hub where children and adolescents transform from viewers into creators. Through our workshops, led by renowned Greek and international artists, we offer youth a unique platform to find their voice and master the tools of modern storytelling. The European Meeting of Young People’s Audiovisual Creation – Camera Zizanio began in 2001 as an initiative of Youth Plan in the framework of the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People activities. Camera Zizanio ONLY ACCEPTS FILMS MADE BY CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (UP TO 20 YEARS OLD).
